Scheduled for surgery, HELP ME

I was told I have Gallstones by Dr. (ultrasound). I have only had two bad attacks and lost of bellyaches and back pain. April 30 I am scheduled to have surgery. I have really been thinking about this since reading all the problems everyone has had with surgery. The doctor didn't mention this stuff. We have a herblist in our area she recommends gallbladder clease along with herbs. I really want to try it but afraid of attacks after cleasing. I hope someone can help me. What is the best cleanse?
