If what you say is true, and I can't say that I made complete sense out of all of it, it sounds like you need a lawyer.

On the medical side, local and regional medical centers may not cut it on a case like this. Something on the national scale where unusual cases get referred, like Johns Hopkins, might be needed. You might try calling around.
