I guess I used too many words. I will try to keep it shorter.But I clearly stated that they had him cornered and that seems to have escaped your attention. See what Kerry said about the Tora Bora incident please - an internet search will yield his statement for you if you don't believe me.

There is a bounty, but there is a bigger reason why they don't take/capture Bin Laden when they had the chance.

You say that they will catch Bin Laden this year, even though they had a chance and did not take him then.

And the favoured treatment the Bin Laden family gets, all those connection to the Bush Family businesses, the flights out of America on the day after 9-11. What will it take to get you to see that the Bin Laden and Bushes are friends, partners? Osama BinLaden is the black sheep and not connected to Bush, but his family is, and that imples more than you want to know I guess.

And sure, Osama may be caught, I have seen where his capture is being delayed until just before the election.

Sudan's president offered the Americans a plan to seize and extradite terrorist number one, as well as the information about the global network, established by the Egyptian Islamic Jihad, Iranian Hizballah and Palestinian Hamas. "The silence of the Clinton administration in respond to these offers was just stunning," Ijaz wrote.
