Re: The Thing with no Brain

When I was in the military, we would hear how to use piano wire to sneak up and kill unsuspecting people in a village...if any civilians were to see the approaching soldiers they were to become collatoral damage(in other words they were to be decapitated with piano wire. I was so brainwashed.... I knew something was wrong about that... but I went along with the whole thing...Surely our military had to do evil things to protect the greater good? I woke up on a rainy day and was swept up and went another way... I have been blessed because I never had to kill anyone and I remain a supporter of soldiers who follow orders because that is what soldiers do but I pray that the leaders of the USA will change the culture of the military to be merciful when mercy is possible. I pray that the seeds of hatred that our nation is planting in the hearts of millions of Muslim fathers, mothers, and children do not grow into become a global war. Someone has to start the forgiving first and America should unite with one mind to understand that we need to repent of our gruesome behavior and forgive our Muslim brothers and sisters when they resond in like. If Isreal will allow a Palestinian state and the USA will sponor it then we can reconcile our state sposored Terrorism to the muslim people. This is what the Muslim people will understand and what would change the dark clouds of war to peace. Tweet
