Nasal mucous and dairy
My bad breath started at age nine and has been with me constantly all of my life. It's caused by thick, clear mucous sitting just above my throat, at the end of my nasal passages, and trickling into my throat. The bacteria eat it up and I get feces breath. It's very bad, it has ruined my life. Nasal washes don't help because as soon as I'm done doing one (I mean like less than a minute after I'm done) the mucous starts filling up at the back of my throat. A friend told me to simply give up all forms of dairy for a few weeks and the mucous would be gone.
Has anyone tried this simple method? What results have you gotten?
The funny thing is besides this mucous issue, I don't really have sinus problems. I can breathe freely, don't sneeze much, don't get stuffy or runny nose. So that's why the dairy things seems plausable. The bacteria eating the mucsous makes my tongue yellow in back. I don't have bad breath when I breathe out (I mean the air doesn't stink), but when I talk or sometimes when I breathe through my nose it smells like crap. Drinking a lot of water to thin the mucous doesn't help at all.
The more I research on the net, the more I keep hearing people say to get rid of wheat and dairy for nasal mucous. Any advice or experiences are appreciated.
P.S. Therabreath, Closys, Waterpik were a waste of money.
