You are probably right that the stygma (attitude of shame) is psychosamatically causing the nerves to overstimulate or otherwise prevent proper functioning of the body (probably digestion). I know that's a long textbook sounding explanation, but it's not, I just have the same feeling. I once heard that one of the first things Emergency Medical Technicians learn is that 'happiness is contagious'. Happiness (especially relaxed happiness,serenity) is important because it lets the body function and heal properly and alot faster. Recently, there was a blog here at Curezone about bathing in water made with "Prill Beads" because the water has detoxification ability. There is also a forum here at Curezone for "Magnetic Clay Baths", and there are detoxifying foot pads that can be worn during sleep.
