The ropes are Mucoid Plaque, which is very old and hard-to-remove fecal matter and toxins in your intestines, which come out sometimes when you do bowel cleanses. They're called ropes because they actually look like dark, rubbery, sem-hard ropes - they've taken on the shape of the intestines, so look bumpy. You can pass them alone or wrapped in bms, they don't hurt. You can find out a lot more about them in the bowel cleansing forum here, and here are some pretty pictures for you to look at! All of those things you see are mucoid plaque. Doing the master cleanse alone, without taking the bentonite and psyllium (also called bp shakes) does not normally cause the mucoid plaque to be eliminated, but it has happened on the rare occasion, so it is a possibility. It's very beneficial for your health to cleanse your colon of MP if you can - the ropes serve as a breeding ground for parasites (they love to live under it, apparently) and also the ropes block off large areas of your intestines so that you can't absorb healthy nutrients and minerals from the foods that you eat. Definitely visit the bowel cleansing forum and look through the archives, or go there and do a search using the word 'mucoid' and see what you come up with.
