Of course, your choice is your own (and if I were pregnant, I'd definitely do more research before I used it internally). My recommendation was for topical use. But from personal experience and VAST research (and that of LOTS of folks I know), these products are not dangerous in any way.

When the FDA comes against something, you can bet it's because that 'something' is taking money from the 'big players' of the pharmaceutical/chemical industry...and if these products ever hit the mainstream, they would certainly do that. Miracle II must be a threat already or the FDA wouldn't be involved. Note: I just did some research on the "FDA/Miracle II" issue, and the only problem is that some sellers were representing the products as a "cure"...which of course, cannot legally be said (even if it's true). Virtually everyone that has ever found a natural product that works & cures has run into the same FDA issues.

As far as the e coli thing, I've found the following:

I'd be interested to know about this 'sample'...as Miracle II neutralizer is available from the manufacturer, but can also be created with a packet of MII neutralizer powder and one's tap or well water. So, it's very possible/probably (especially since there's been no reports of of human contamination or illness), that the sample was tainted. E Coli is found naturally in the human body and plants...it's everywhere.

I wish I could get into this further, but I simply have no more time (as I'm having company over the weekend). I appreciate and understand your concern...but I'm fairly certain it's unfounded.

Maybe you'll find something else you can use for your itching...I sure hope so!
