Ingrown TOENAIL?

Hello,
I was wondering if anyone had some suggestions on what to do with an ingrown toenail? The big toe had it's very own surgery and has been bathed in a hot tub of water containing shards of the hottest available (fresh but had been frozen) cayenne chilli peppers, fresh ginger, and fresh garlic every night. Yet it doesn't seem to be helping, as it keeps bleeding. Is there anyone who has encountered similar problems, and who may be a kind soul, and bounce some past experiences with me? Or even, know what to do to stop the toenail from growing back again....Please?
