Re: candida and alcohol

Alcohol was always my biggest problem with getting rid of my candida as I am young and have a lot of friends who always want me to go party every weekend.

My nutritional doctor advised me that gin is the only alcohol I should have as it is made in a way different to vodka and the other hard liquors - if I had to have any.

By definition too vodka, bourbon, scotch and rum would all be ok just obviously have diet softdrink with it. Wine is low in carbs and has no Sugar but it ususally contains grapes which are fermented so I find some people with candida dont agree with wine. You will know yourself if it agrees with you.

I myself drink gin or vodka with diet softdrink. I am allergic to bourbon and was allergic to wine so stay away from them.
