That is very good advice. There were times when I was in my early 20s that I tried to pick up girls, because I felt I needed someone. It seemed as though I had the word DESPERATE writen on my forehead. They all kept their distance from me.
I was 28 when I met my wife. It happend at a time when I was not looking. I was just doing my own thing and being happy.
She worked at a small store that had a deli and pizza. I didn't flirt or come on to her at all. I just acted cheerful and polite.
Then one day I found out she liked me. I took her to dinner. I gave her lots of space. We went out for about a month before we went all the way.
We have been together for about 20 yrs now.
