PLEASE TELL ME WHERE TO START...IM TOTALLY CONFUSED!

hi...i have been suffering from Acne for the past 10 years..on almost all my body...i have scars too and i am sick and tired of using medications, tretinoin, erithromyucin...i have used almost everything i cud...i recently visited this site and found out about cleansing...i cant make head or tail of how to go about it...can any one tell me in plain simple language how to do it?
