Recluse bite

I just had to add this because it could be invaluble information. I have and my father both have been bitten by brown recluse on seperate occasions. The skin at the site seem to be rotting or melting away getting bigger more painful and pusfilled. I showed my mom I was a kid she made a shredded potato poultice with gauze and tape and left it on over night. It was devoid of pus in the Am and healed w/in two days. same thing with my Dad years later
Ps also works on bites and other infected boils
