I told a friend of mine, who is a DO, that I believe my hemmorhoids were caused by a chronic pinworm infection, because it felt to me like the worms were drilling holes in my anal tissues, causing them to be weak. Being prone to constipation, my hemmorhoids always popped out whenever I strained to go to the bathroom, or when I couldn't go for a few days. He said "That could very will be, indeed." Tweet
