yeah I'd gamble more on not adressing it directly.

As I said before the ego is supoosed to protect us. It is however like a child and quite stubborn especially if it sees relinquishing power with no benefit for it.

I Am a believer that if my ego is constantly critical that it is a guage of how critical I Am to others. It is not good for me just to control my tongue that is easy as oppsed to controlling my thoughts. Controlling the thoughts is not so much wrestling them into submission but understanding what I presented previously about right thinking.

So whatever methods You utilize to get to that end know that the higher spiritually you climb the greater your responsibility and what you are responsible for. "To whom much is given much is expected." There is also the path you choose to operate on either that of the law )karmic or the other way that Jesus and other masters operated under which is "grace and truth" it is easier to operate under the law and be nominal or step up into non-judgement and transcend.

The hard sayings of jesus like "turn the other cheek when you are slapped. File no lawsuits against those who may file them against you. Do not defend yourself even to the death, blessed are the poor in spirit, humble, meek, etc..." This means that if you appear to be humble and meek yet harbor thoughts of venegeance or anger or any judgement even of good, that you have already committed an error because thought energy is causative factor that causes one to speak or talk or act.

It seems that perhaps you are at a point where you can decide to operate in a higher kingdom if you can rein the causative power. Hard to operate in two worlds. Your higher self will create what it feels you are ready for until you can build the bridge to communicate with the higher self straightaway, face to face.
