So...cute, playful ferrets eh? I really like that symbol! Little furry animals usually represent our instincts (natural 'animal' instincts)....and it sounds like you either a. have a playful, childlike soul that likes to express itself in an affectionate playful way or b. you NEED to be more playful and childlike and affectionate or c. if you've been through a hard time lately this dream could have been a healing dream from your higher self...those feelings you had playing with the ferrets are totally real! Your body, mind and soul FELT that...and that was sooo good for you!

So....not sure which one fits.

The other thing that stands out is the river bed that is dry now! Wow. Potent symbol! Water and especially Rivers indicate one's 'river of life'....spirituality and emotions and especially with rivers 'going with the flow' of one's life (which is essentially spiritual). But your river bed was dry! What's going on? Are you not spiritually connected right now? Do you emotions feel 'all dried up'? You need to get some water/spirituality/connectivity to the greater Source happenin'....and actually reading the rest of your dream makes that clear.

The ferrets keep getting loose and then you bring them back inside with you...ooooh I can't quite grasp it...! argh...You think 'it's not my fault'...

Ah! I think the rest of the dream is indicating that it's more like b. above....you might have to let go of some control (and let the flow of life in...get more connected) and let your inner playfulness and divine child come out to play! That they all turned black might indicate that you have some fear issues around all this stuff..? Then collecting all the babies - and the caterpillar symbolism, together - show that there is something brand new within you....(caterpillars transform into butterflies and babies grow up!)...and you are nurturing it (even though outside circumstances might be making it a little hard for you)...keep nurturing this new feeling inside you because you WILL transform...it's a-happenin'!

Can't wait until you have some Water in your dreams! Fill up that dry river bed!

Also...briefly, the Zebra is symbolic of black and white judgement-type mindsets - and Lions are symbolic of Ego...stumbling blocks - or something you're up against while you nurture this new, more relaxed, free and playful you could be your own black and white attitudes to things and judgements (of yourself and others) - which makes you think that others may be judging you too...and your Conscious Mind (ego self) that thinks: I'M in control! We can't have Change! If we do...who knows what chaos will happen??

So...all in all...let go of control, drop any self-judgement or judgement of others and nurture this something beautiful and new inside you! Get that water of life flowin'!
