Re: Contmplative question to the enlightened

My thoughts Objectively, by any measurement, enlightened people can have the same qualities as those who are not enlightened. They can be just as egocentric as anyone else. Quite often it is shown that they become even more ego centered if they allow themselves to be put on a pedestal. There have been some fully enlightened humans that have become dirty, self-indulging, shameless promoters of self, liars etc... Those with the ability to achieve enlightenment are perhaps akin to those who are born as prodigies such as Tiger Woods. Tiger had the right guru (Father) and was able to be guided to the enlightened level. MIchael jordan perhaps did it by self introspection and examination just as Rajneesh (Osho) or h.i. J KRiSNnamurti did without a guru. Now neither Tiger nor Michael had to take it to the next level. If you know his story Michael almost didn't. They would in this case be men with inherent abilities to be a great sportsman but it is their choice to bring what is inside to the outer world. Some enlightened chose to bring out a love of sex or money or material posessions along with their enlightenment we have all heard of these guys.

A.
