Toxins accumulate in fat tissue because this keeps them neutral. When the fat is broken down to fast without the proper precautions (as in most weightloss programs) these toxins are released back into circualtion which can lead to liver, kidney and heart problems and even cause heart attacks. A person with a fatty liver has stored lots of toxins in the liver. THe fats help to prevent liver failure, but in the long term this "solution" fails as well. There is a limit to as how much fat the body can store before cell suffocation occurs. Usually cancer results or compications with the heart, or both.

Yes, the brain is mostly composed of fats, of which the largest part is made pf cholesterol fats. The liver makes most of the cholesterol in the body. All hormones are made of cholesterol. Much of the heart is made of cholesterol. Cholesterol is also a stress hormone protecting us against stress. the more stress, the higher the chcolesterol production in the liver. Choesterol is the first aid hormone attaching itself to wounds to to help forms scar tissue. All scar tissue is largly composed of cholesterol. It patches up wounds and lesions in the arteries to prevent blood clots from entering the heart and causing heart attacks. It is one of the most essential things in the body. Unfortunately, medicine gave it bad reputation. And so we try to lower cholesterol with drugs and foods when it ries to save us. Net result: more severe health problems than existed before.
