Re: lying and full of misconception

First of all, no actually I do not believe in God, I have been an atheist since i was sixteen years old. Second of all, I do not always believe in the system, or think that the system is not corrupt. You can just look at what the president, notice i didnt call him my president is doing in the white house these days, to know corruption is rampant and everywhere. And I never said in my first post which you were responding to that I have a closed mind. The reason i was on this site was to see what everyone had to say, i read books on herbs and detoxification and believe that some of what i read holds promise. But once again, i will make my point, that i do not believe nor have i seen proof that someone has foud a cure all for lupus let alone all auto immune disease. I believe, that there are many different stages and types of lupus, and no one person`s body handles it the same. My daughter has a very tough and advanceed case, but she and i know many people who also have lupus and have never and still dont have the problems she has had. I know people in the natural/homeopathic industry one of them is my best friends, so i resent you telling me i have a closed mind to the subject, and that you are glad you dont think like me. Well, i hope you dont think this is cruel but i am glad i dont think like you. As i stated in my first posting, i believe there is a medium between Science and homeopathy. I think both together can and are beneficial. Dr. Andrew Weil, is one of the many doctors coming out now that believes in that theory. I dont turn my back on either one, i think both can be helpful, and both side have points, What i took offense too, is posting on a website or in a book that you have discovered the new cure all, and i say new because people are always coming out with a book that says they have the sure, there is corruption there too, and if you dont think so, then again i am glad i dont think like you. When two side argue and dont listen to what the otehr is saying, all the people who could be helped fall through the cracks and that is not right, maybe if more people like myself, inform theirdoctors that they would like to try detoxification of their body, or herbs, as well as their usual medicines, or they tell them they are changing the food in there house making sure there is no aspartame, or chemicals from carpet, and so forth, then maybe more doctors would be more like mine, and agree to help with that, guiding me through what may be toxic or bad for my daughter, and giving me informaiton on what she has heard from collegues what has ana hast worked. You may be cured of your disease, or you may just be lucky enough to be syptom free and continue to be that way because you havent yet again run into the toxins or enviornmental factors that caused your auto immunity problem to begin in the first place. People are always seeking the miracle cure, they have for centuries, so to say that corruption in the medical business has stopped this informaiton to come out is a little naive, i know you believe in what you have done and what worked for you, but you also seem to believe that your way is the only way, and that modern Science cant also be a little right,or that mixed together the two work to help make auto immune problems go into remissions. I would never be arrogant enough to say that i am completly right, i know all, i have the cure, and you are all stupid if you dont believe me, to think like that would not help my daughter in anyway. What helps my daughetr is to have a mother, who is smart enough to know that ther eis no CURE out there, but that there are differing theories and medicines, herbs etc that can help, and searching books, friends, and websites for all the information is the way to go. I would never jump into anything i dont know enough about and give it to my young daughter who is still a minor. I would be insane if i did. So i think you should rethink what to me seems like a god complex on this subject. I never stated holistic medicine was voodoo or something, what i said was that i do not feel anyone should bill their experience or work as the cure all, when it hasnt been proven beyond a reasonable doubt that it is, if you believe in god, how can you be so sure of yourself? Isnt ego a sin? I thank you for your comments, and i hope you understand that i am not trying to personally attack you, as i hope you were not trying to personally attack me. If people really want to stop auto immune diseases, they should be open to all possibilities, holistic and modern. Maybe if we had a government that realized that things like stem cells, could be the cure all we are all searching for, a way of stopping all disease, an end to medicines that can somtimes hurt more than they help, or not help at all, or herbs that arre not regulated and sometimes can be deemed unsafe. Wouldnt that be nice. Too bad there isnt someone in the government with the balls, pardon my french, to get that ball rolling. We are all on the same side, trying to stop and cure lupus and auto immune disease, maybe we should all think of that the next time someone has a new idea, or has a theory that you dont agree with, maybe we should all start working together, at least that is what i am trying to do. Compromise is always better, and maybe my way of both holistic and modern, is the way to go, but i can tell you one thing i certianly would not bill it as a cure all.
