As far as heavy metals and other kinds of toxins, I am really clean. However, I think I have a really intense parasite issue and I need to go really slowly. I am aware of the warning signs of low electrolites, so I will keep an eye on it and continue to take lots of electrolite supplements as well as fresh veggie juices and a raw veggie diet.

I got sick a few months after getting a cat who had a Tapeworm when I got her. I treated her for the tapeworm, but who knows what else she has. Who knows what I have? All I know is that two different EDS (Electro Dermal Skin testing) practitioners have diagnosed me with a parasite/yeast problem.

My hardest thing right now is STAYING on the 100% raw veggie diet. Not so much because it isn't satysfying, but more because I get alarmed by the detox reactions.

Just because I react like this doesn't mean others will. I believe that if your mineral reserves are already running dangerously low you are more likely to get this kind of reaction while cleansing.

When the body cleanses it is expelling acids from the system. The body need minerals to bind with the acids in order to neutrilize them and carry them out of the body. If there are too many acids being released at once, the body may not have enough mineral reserves to neutrilize the acids and your electrolites plummet to a dangerous level.

If your mom is having serious detox reactions, then just slow the process down. So long as she is going in the right direction...
