Re: Does laxative tolerance require more oxypowder???

I know that a lot of people seem to swear by the enema; but I just can't bring myself to do it. I did one ONCE about 5 years ago and it has scared me from ever doing one again. When I was about 19 I had hurt my back and was given a lot of strong painkillers; and at 19 I had an even worse diet than I have now...I actually went about 15+ days without going! It was torture!!! I was to the point that my belly was sticking out so far that I looked pregnant, and I couldn't keep food down--I would throw-up everything I ate (I wasn't particularly hungry, just sick feeling). I bought a FLeet as a last resort before I would resort to going to the hospital. It still didn't produce a BM (sorry I know I'm being grafic and gross; but hey, it's natural!) and it was painful to have just water coming out of me. DOn'tknow if I did something wrong or what. I don't ever want to have that experience again as long as I live. It's almost become a phobia of mine now.
