I would recommend discussing this with your physician, ASAP. Not knowing what your medical and medication history is, it would be difficult, if not irresponsible to advice you over an internet forum.

Bowels and bladder tend to be slow after surgery, and sometimes, they give someone post-op some medication to kick-start the system again.
