(continued)
It makes me sad that some animals had to be tortured in the testing of this. Poor little things. =o(
I was also going to correct myself in saying that my first actual dose of Konsyl was more than the label-recommendation. I had mis-read it, and thought it said 2 heaping TABLESPOONS... so to start gently, I "only" took 1 heaping tablespoon. I believe 3 (level)teaspoons make 1 (level) tablespoon, so it wasn't far from the "correct dose," I just wanted to set that straight.
This bottle says "National Distributors" Sonne's Organic Foods, Inc. Kansas City, MO 64142 ...that might interest someone. Also, the expiration date looks like it is 03-25-06.
Okay, that's all the information I can see worth possible sharing. =o) I will probably report back to the board as I find out how adding this to my Konsyl will affect me. The Konsyl, by the way, was $14. I'm convinced that one does not need to spend a lot to get good results. I bought the generic Fleet-style enemas, which were maybe a dollar each. I'm working myself up to buying a "real" enema bag... for some reason, ICk. We'll see.
