Sometimes It's The Little Things
OK, so I have been thinking a lot about what the harmonic concordance is about all day today. Doing a lot of reading (and re-reading your posts, Tracey) and thinking about this whole duality thing. This unifying of different polarities, of male and female energies, or opposite energies.
Anyway, I was being walked by my dogs today and happened past this almond tree full of almonds. Well, last time I walked by it I picked an almond and ate it and it was the best tasing almond I had ever tasted. It made ALL the other almonds I had eaten in my life seem like styrofoam. I had thought, "Ah, so this is what a REAL almond tastes like". It was very strong tasting, very much like that almond extract almost. So rich I could only eat one or 2.
I swear to you people, I have a point here. So today I picked an almond, but due to certain dog doody collecting responsibilities, it wasn't convenient for me to try and eat it while wrestling 2 dogs at the same time. So, I put it in my pocket and forgot about it.
Later, I found it in my pocket, and instead of eating it then, I decided to put it on my little altar for later. I just wanted to note that it was really special somehow.
So just now, I remembered that I hadn't eaten it yet. I took the almond off the altar and, completely out of character for me, I looked at it and asked that I be blessed with "new seed" power that mine might grow and was thankful that there could be so much to learn from just a seed.
As you know, almonds have that sort of hard yet spongy outer shell. I cracked the shell open and inside, was not one almond, but TWO almonds, melded together in this beautiful union. I was floored.
Duality. And yet - it was one almond but two at the same time.
I had just been reading a channel that said that the star of David triangles union is meant to form a diamond - this represents the opposite of duality, the union or balancing of male and female energies.
My angels are laughing and saying that this was a "diamond" almond (we have "Diamond" brand almonds here in California, these guys are such jokers).
For the record I am not under the influence of anything except two really good almonds at the moment.
It was such a beautiful moment, thanks for letting me share it.
Blessings,
Ali
