Re: Is bread really all that bad?

Hey guys, you have not LIVED until you have made your own bread!! I live in Mexico where good whole grain breads are made only in your dreams.... at one point I was making 30-40 loaves a week in my home, and sold every crumb. 100% whole wheat! Oatmeal! Rye! Pumpernickle! Multi grain!

My dad taught me to make bread when I was 5, and was the best gift he ever gave me. This is something you really have to experience! YOU control what goes in. Certain oils? No oils? Certain salt? Minimal salt? (bread needs SOME salt or is very bland) YOU decide!

And nothing beats the smell of YOUR bread baking! You have to make extra though, the first loaf disappears the second you take it out of the oven. I always try to keep one or two in the freezer.

Salud!
