I can say this for sure...you attract more bees with sweetness then you do with biterness. The only time Jesus ever got angry in scripture was with religious folks. Jesus not only loved sinners, he hung out with them and lived with them and by being a model of love amongst sinners, Jesus drew men and women to the truth about the true nature of God. Mean spirited Christianity ain't Christianity at all. I see the whole world fighting over their version of God and the Only God worth fighting for at all is the God that is "Love." And all the hardline christianity will ever do is create more of what we see in the world today. You can scare folks into repentence but only love can make folks walk the walk. All of the "my god is bigger than your god" talk will never create peace. While Christian preachers are often good at bringing non-believers to repentence they often do little to finish the job of making their followers doers of the word. The only way to walk in love is to walk in love. You can lead folks to water but you can't make them drink. Jesus wants to lead us to love and God is Love but all around the world people are denying this one single truth. Outside of hardline faiths, most people are flocking to churches, synogouges, and mosques and hearing that God is love and yet they still return to their own messed up intolerance of others. There must be a reason for this hearing the Word that "God is love" and doing the opposite? If you have an answer for this question, perhaps you can enlighten me? I believe the only way to show love is to love and any un-love only adds to my burden while love lightens my load and shines like a beacon of light on the path before me. My light is Christ...where is your light coming from? From wherever your light comes from...or whatever faith...& whatever you call God...If your god is love...then we have have the Same God. I will stand for tolerance and love and that is all there is worth standing for. Bless you all who believe in love and if you don't believe in love I pray love believes in you.
