Where did all this stuff come from about Jehovah Witnesses? No one brought it up or defended it, you brought it up. I realize you want to teach people, but maybe you need to make sure you have the right heart behind it first. Those who teach, will be judged more strictly, so we should be careful. Sometimes people are eager to voice "what they know" out of pride for their own wisdom or beliefs. This "pride", comes across very angy, and judgmental, not compassionate at all. Ephesians says to speak the truth out of love. Whenever I want to teach someone, or share something with someone, it has to be strictly out of love, and not to ridicule them for their beliefs. Why are you making such an issue of something that was never brought up by anyone? Can it be maybe that you like to argue? Maybe you have some pride issues to work through? Whatever it may be, I do understand, I also have made this mistake in the past. I remember making people feel stupid, because of my pride and self-righteousness. Thank God for His forgiveness and discipline! Yes, I agree that the bible is clear on a lot of issues that people disagree on or believe differently today. But, the manner in which we teach it, will either drive people away, or draw them nearer to God. People will always be drawn by genuine love. And believe me, the way we come across to people, can either help them or push them away. What we want to do is win peoples hearts over to God. God bless you always, your sister in Christ.
