Re: surgery for gallstones?

I found this forum when I was trying to research the different types of gallbladder surgery. I was not scheduled for the surgery yet, but had an appointment for a consultation with the surgeon. I was diagnosed with multiple gallstones. I went to the doctor because I was having gallbladder attacks every few days. They weren't the extreme type that landed me in the hospital but they were very debilitating. I was afraid to eat and when I wasn't having a gb attack I was plagued with horrible headaches. That was in Aug of 2002. I have since completed 5 flushes yeilding hundreds of stones. I have not got hard proof they are stones because they have not been analyzed but they match the pictures and descriptions I've seen here. What I do know is that my headaches (which I've had since high school- I am now 27) are rare to non-existent and my gb attacks are minor and few and far between. I am not stone free yet but with each flush, I feel better and more energetic and the attacks become more minor. Liver Flushes have changed my life, I still have all body parts intact, and have spent only the tiniest amount of money to get there!

I hope this helps. Good luck, don't give up, keep reading others' posts and keep posting yourself. There is endless support and information here. You won't regret it!! Don't let the doctors scare you!!
