My sister, only 34 years old, had her gallbladder removed a few months ago (tried to get her to flush, but she was afraid). She didn't have Gallstones show up on ultrasound, and the hida scan result was low but in the "normal range". Doctor told her after surgery that the GB was "diseased" (what does that mean?). She is somewhat better but still gets nauseous and has digestive distress. Now the doctor says she has acid reflux. Go figure.
She's doing better now that she's changed her diet -- which she could've/should've done BEFORE surgery.
