Re: Wrenn

heh heh, I just saw this post.

You said:
"Have a great week,
and keep on drinking !
(did you ever think you would say that to anyone?)"

NO!!!! haha!
BOTTOMS UP! Another round, on the house!

Also, you said "*TEA sing*"
Now, normally I would groan a little...
but that reminded me.
I went to a chinese tea shop in asia, the man there does demonstrations and talks about tea and the chinese tradition (the queen of england has been to his shop to hear his talk and sample the tea, he is one of THE best).
The chinese make tea by having a very small pot. They put in the leaves. They pour in the water and let it sit for perhaps 30 seconds, then pour it out. That "washed" the leaves. Then the put in more water, and after about 1 minute they pour this tea into the tiny cups and drink it (the cups are more like shot glasses, about 2 sips per person). This way you enjoy the fragrance and the taste of the tea. You can pour the water onto the same leaves for 7 times, then you change leaves or kinds of tea if you want.
This takes a while, obviously. It is a very social occasion, with people talking and taking turns preparing the tea. Usually eating a little, too. You don't end up drinking a particularly large quantity of tea this way. However, the man pointed out that frequently after drinking the tea for a while, most groups just burst out into song. It makes people become very happy and merry. (From our view, that probably means too much tea at that point) But it is very interesting - the way the tea is prepared, the amount and the way it is enjoyed, etc. It can be white tea, green tea, jasmine tea, black tea, or more likely all of these at different times.
It is a social setting, a happy occasion, enjoying drinks together - but instead of alcohol and its very very strong and harsh effects, it is tea. A gentle way to have fun and not get drunk!
So yes - just TEA sing - tea WILL make you sing, and probably start TEASING, too!
