Re: gentle facial brushing?

The site I read said it was very good to do facial brushing and recommended a softer brush. I bought a little facial natural fibers brush at my chiropractors, but it is rougher than the boar bristle body brush I bought at Wal-Mart! Eek, I have only used it twice but find it difficult as it feels so rough to me. But I think I will build up tolerance to it perhaps? The first day I used it my cheeks had red underneath them before doing the facial brushing, then later that afternoon I went to town and a friend commented on how much my skin looked like it glowed! The redness was gone and I guess she thought I was glowing...:) So that is when I decided to keep trying to use it! :) I put a little Baby Magic baby bath soap on the brush to try and help soften the effects of the bristles, it helped a bit too. I've only been dry brushing for a few days now and the bumpy cellulite on my legs is already feeling smoother, as well as the textured stretch marks on my belly. So I am happy with the results thus far! :) And of course, I scrub those areas more vigourously and for a longer duration of time, and I think that helps. One page I read said not to brush a women's breasts, but others said do it lightly and others commented on how it helps sagging breasts to firm and rise, so I have been brushing my breasts. I think why the one site did not recommend it was they thought they would be too sensitive, but mine are not all. It may not be something everyone could do though because of that. And every site I read said not to brush the nipples, so I have been avoiding those. Hope this informaiton is slightly useful for you Sofia. :) Caitlin Lorraine
