Re: Nourishing Traditions Question

I have been using the store-bought organic butter, too. I'd like to try making my own, but I do not have access to raw milk or cream--nonhomogonized is the best I can get. I have been looking into places to get raw milk, but they're all quite a distance from my house, and I don't know if I want to get into the whole buying shares thing.

I have started making many of the Nourishing Guidelines recipies. I made my own cheese and whey for the first time the other day and am now using the whey to make the fermented cucumbers (pickles). (However, my health food store did not have pickling cucumbers, so I used regular ones...I'm told they won't come out as good...I'll have to see what happens--I have one more day of letting them sit out.) I am going to make my own yoghurt this week, too. Have you tried anything else that's good?
