Of course you need to start eating more, however if you're not working out you'll just gain fat weight. I had a similar problem! Heres the skinny (no pun intended)
You first need to find out how many calories you can have a day without gaining or losing weight, this is your set point. Once you know that number increase it by 200 to 250 calories and stick with that for a week and see how you're doing. The next week
stay with that until you're not gaining anymore then add another 200 to 250 calories.
So for example say your set point is 1800 calories. So start eating 2000 the next
week. Instead of breakfast lunch and dinner, have six meals a day spaced three hours
a part. Three of them can be protein or meal replacement drinks.
Next join a gym and try to weight train 3 times a week so your building muscle.
Just do cardo 2 times a week for 15 to 20 minutes to keep that in tune.
As far as digestion, the 6 smaller meals as opposed to three larger will help,
but you can also take sup's. I suggest enzyme cap's and probiotics.
