Re: Back to the supplement question and another

Why take the supplements? You'll find out when you read the book. His other book, Patient Heal Thyself, explains in more detail.

For me, its because as wonderful as the MD is, it's still up to me. I'm still learning my 'right' foods and my 'right' balance. But in the meantime I know I can get a few shots of perfect nutrition every day. It's a boost. Plus, I'm not gonna eat all of those rapidly growing cereal grasses that are in Perfect Food every day. Or find local grass fed goat's colostrum on a regular basis in my area.

Primal Defense is just THE MOST AMAZING THING I HAVE EVER PUT INTO MY BODY!

I can feel the difference if I miss one dose. Then I think, man, how did I live every day like this before the MD? (Of course, before it was a lot worse than this! I was eating McDonalds without my PD instead of kefir and grass fed meat and the like)

Primal Defense is made up of Homeostatic Soil Organisms. These little guys are as old as the earth and are not found in modern soil ruined by non-earth friendly agriculture. Basically, our guts are out of balance. We all have 'good' and 'bad' bacteria in there, usually at war with each other(which is why they don't take over our bodies). Eating the foods we grew up eating (sugars, white flours, processed everything, etc etc) and taking Antibiotics allow the 'bad' bacteria to take over, causing a host of unwanted conditions.

Taking PD regularly puts the 'good' bacteria back in. They start kicking the bad guys out and eating through all of the putrifaction stitting in your gut. My friends and I have all lost clothes sizes just from our gut swelling going down so much! We're talking about inches all from nasty waste rotting inside of us!
