He sounds like the Pat Robertson of Aceh, blaming all natural disasters on the wrath of God. This will happen in people of all religions when they look for answers why and decide to find a scapegoat for all the worlds ills or just to blame those who do not follow their moral code.

If God sends natural disasters to punish, then I'm sure he could have found a much more worthy place then Indonesia don't you think...but Las Vegas seems to be doing fine thus far.
