I think most of the suffering will come from within them when they admit how wrong they were.

Philippians 2:10,11 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;
And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Chris is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Rev. 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

2Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night;[that is to say, when we least expect it] in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Rev. 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Did you ever notice in the Bible how many times a person just passed out cold, and had to be revived, at the appearance of an angel?
