Hi beej!
I am only starting to read the Quran.
What I have understood beej in my short time studying it that when you read the english traslation of the quran you are NOT really reading the quran at all. The quran is only in arabic and that the english version is only a translation of the meaning but it is not really possible to translate arabic as it is such an intensly rich language that has words that you will not beable to discribe.
Another thing is that the use of noble language uses the phrase "we".
but I am sure mother of4 has the answer, I am far from a scholar of islam! It is a very interesting religion though!
When did you start reading the Quran beej? What prompted this question?
