Re: Define saved, and define saved from what?

It appears you really don't care how I answer you, but I'll do it anyway.

First of all, I quoted the Bible, GOD's Word-- not mine. We can spend our whole lives throwing our human opinions at each other without resolving anything, but with an external Authority there is such a thing as Absolute Truth and a final answer to all of life's questions. Otherwise it doesn't matter what anyone believes.

You infer that I have my own personal "method" as you put it to finding favor with God. That's a lie. I didn't write the Bible, I just read it and study it and quote it. If you have a problem with that, you'll have to complain to the Author-- GOD.

But YOU seem to think you have all the answers, and you're eager to beat those who disagree with you over the head with it. How, pray tell, is that different from what you accuse me of doing? Why is it okay for you to challenge my beliefs but not for me to challenge yours?

Fear? I have no fear of the next life because I know the One who controls it. But there is good reason to fear God if you won't come to him on HIS terms. I didn't invent this God, so don't blame me for your perception of him. It is hate, not love, that fails to warn people in danger or show them the way to be saved.

You asked, saved from what? The short answer is Hell. I don't care whether you believe in it, because your lack of belief can't make it disappear. But I DO care whether you go there, so that's why I spread the Gospel-- the way to be saved from hell.

Here in Curezone there are many WARNINGS about allopathic medicine. Isn't that spreading FEAR by your definition? Why don't you get in Curezone's face about all the FEAR they're spreading? Oh, that's right, you AGREE with their position, so it's okay for them to spread fear in the name of helping people. But it's NOT okay to spread fear to help people if it means agreeing with the Bible. I sincerely hope you get my point.
