Christianity has lost its spiritual impetus. It no longer makes people better than they were when they started. Usually today Christians tend to be more bigoted and judgemental and nowhere near their full spiritual potential. What we don't realize is that we're coming in on the last few second of a movie that has been playing for like eight hours and somehow we think we understand what took place before we arrived.
I realize that few here will accept criticism of any kind regarding Christianity. But for those very few who have not lost their capacity to think for themselves, I highly recommend the writings of Dr. Alvin Boyd Kuhn. His work can bring people back to sanity if it is closely analyzed. Take your time to read through "Shadow of the Third Century: A Revaluation of Christianity."
