I agree with you both. I consider the whole prosperity thing a false American gospel, designed to mislead people away.
"it takes lots of money to spread the gospel". The gospel has been spreading for two thousand years non-stop, being accosted and persecuted everywhere, and yet, it will be preached until the end of days. This does not need 'money', it needs the power of God and people willing to be obedient to His call. It does not need fancy jet planes and multi-million dollar media centers. Tweet
