Little bit, not too much....
....Hmmn.., let's see now. Yes of course, what we eat affects our overall well being, and certainly we are to be good stweards of all that God gives us, our finances, families, homes, automobiles, jobs, etc. But scripturally I can see no direct correlation between what we actually eat and the condition of our spirituality. You can eat and be as healthy as a shiny penny and still be on your way to H.E. double-sticks.
You are either in the Word, or you are needing to be.....
As far as fasting in order to cast out evil spirits, again, a means by which to get closer to the presence of God in order to carry out the great commision. Now here is an interesting topic that I would love for the resident theologian and knit-picker to delve into: What say Fethered-friend? Why exactly should we fast?
In any case, there are some things that don't exactly come out of my mouth and boy, talk about defilements!! I'm talking about the expressions on the faces of those critters that exit after Old Amish Dewormer (my personal favorite ;.) ) Yes indeed, when I get nasty in the middle of an argument, I can always say, "The
parasites made me do it"!!! (you watch, I'm definitely going to use that one next time, hee hee!!!!!)
