it's nice to hear that there are others out there who do Christian yoga :-) I believe that God has dominion over all things and events. and I initially felt that Christians were allowing the non Christians to benefit from wholistic medicine and not taking advantage of natural medicine themselves.
The more I think about it though, the more convinced I am that wholistic health is really the closest to health the way God designed it to be. Because natural health is going back to basics before man started mucking around and adding to what God has already made perfect (like who needs fertilizers? another new antibiotic? ever technologically advanced gizmos that wreak havoc on the electromagnetic systems in our bodies/) I think of it as in the Garden of Eden... perfectly made by God yet became imperfect due to man's desire to "add" to what God has made.
My personal practice is to pray to God as soon as I wake up and ask Him to be with me as I do the various protocols that I do to boost my immune system (I had cancer 5 yrs ago and have some breast lumps right now that I am monitoring). When I do the suryanamaskar (sun salutation), I praise God for His incredible blesings! I ask Him to guide me in my choice of treatments and ask that I not become self deceived (my OB GYN recommended that I have surgery for the lumps which I refused).
