Re: PLZ PPL, STOP GETTING ROOT CANALS!!!

Hayley,

On June 20th I had a root canal on my far back left upper molar and 3 days prior a temporary crown on the tooth in front of that root canaled tooth. The pain after the root canal was intense. My left cheek felt swollen and had a whitish apperence. I had terrible jaw pain and the side of my face( the left side), where I had the root canal was numb, followed by numbness and tingiling in my left arm and hands, then in my left leg and then my left shoulder blade and neck. I then felt nautious and went to the hospital to be checked out. All along my tooth was killing me and previously went back to the endodontist to have him look at it and he said it looked great( eventhough I was dying of pain). After a week in the hospital being treated with Antibiotics and blood thinners, they sent me home saying nothing looked wrong and maybe I should see a Neurologist or Psychiatrist. I went to both and the Psychiatrist said that my symptoms were most likely an anxiety disorder and she put me on Zoloft and Zanex. 3 months later I am still taking this medicine and my left jaw hurts so bad, I can barely open my mouth, I still have numbness and tingiling in my left arm and hand, occasionally in my left leg or foot and left shoulder. I then had 3 other opinions and went to a ENT who said sounds like a problem from your root canal, and two other Endodontists that said everything looks fine. Still after having all of this pain and these symptoms, I found an article on the Root Canal Cover Up book. I then was referred to a Biological Dentist that said he can't guarentee me anything,, but suggested to maybe pull the root canal tooth and see if that helps and possibly pull the tooth with the crown in front of that(he was still being cautious whether or not the problem was not just soley the root canal tooth.) I am sceduled for the 27th of this month. How long after they pull the tooth if all of my problems are from a root canal, will I notice a difference or go back to normal?

Thank you,

Velvel
