Chances are that your non-bio dentist will want you to re-do the root canal. root canals are money generators for dentists that are not aware of the risks of root canals or do not believe that they cause any problems. Crowns are another source of income generators for dentists. An unethical non-bio dentist will suggest root canal and crown, before doing a re-fill with non-metal materials for purpose of filling his pockets. I don't know if you are aware of the work of Dr. Price and root canals. If you are not, do some research on the toxicity of root canals. By the sounds of what you are describing, you definitely have a problem with that root canaled tooth. There are links on this site that you can go to find more info on root canal toxicity. Below is a link to a site with some info on root canal toxicity. If you are quite sure it is that tooth and the dentist can comfirm it, you may want to consider extraction from a bio-dentist. I have 2 root canals and am considering extracting them.
