I read your posts and you have mentioned Thyroid.
I know I have it. Don't know the details, but before I left Poland doctor mentioned to me that I have it. Did nothing about it, and just gave me some pills without event testing me for it. I don’t know which kind I have it: over or under active.
A lot of my friends my age have it. Long time ago when I was 7-8 yrs Russian Chernobyl Reactor blew up and the Russians did not tell anyone for several days during which we were all exposed to radio activation. The caused a lot health problems for a lot of people in Eastern Europe. They gave us something after the whole thing came up, but it was too little too late.
Anyway my question is...
How much does it cost to get started? Doctor’s visit? The medications? I do not have a health insurance, and I don't know if I want to start the whole thing before I get it (maybe one day). I heard they wouldn’t cover me if I start now and get the insurance later. It will be pre-existing or something. No doctor in USA had diagnosed me with it yet.
Do you have any advice? I'm pretty scared that the longer I wait the lesser chances I have to get better. I can see a lot of changes and symptoms due to the thyroid in my body already. (Eyes, teeth, hair are getting worse)
