Re: If at first you don't succeed...

Hi Tesser,

Good luck with this. You do put in a lot of hours so I can see where you deffinitely have a struggle.

Mixing the lemonade and maple syrup in bottles without the pepper and then putting it in just before you drink it is the best way that I have found. I went on a 5 day trip to Calif. during my first fast and had to conquer lots of eating out with my son and popcorn at the movies, etc. It was sort of hard but I made it through and having my bottles all ready to go in a cooler was what got me through it.

In order to get the full benefits of this fast, following it to a tee is the only way to go. It is more difficult but it makes success that much sweeter, knowing what you have accomplished. Missing eating just goes with the territory. I went for 17 days and that feeling never went away for me. I wasn't hungry though. My tongue never got pink, I lost 19 1/2lbs. have kept off 16 1/2lbs. I am doing it again starting May 20. Looking back on what I accomplished gives me pleasant thoughts!

Hang in there, it does get easier as time goes on. You'll be amazed how good you feel when you get through it.

Lorie
