You are correct in that the body has sodium /potassium pumps, as some may call them, which function by osmotic pressure which functions because of pH changes which is part of the Electrical Generation process which takes place in the body!

And you are correct in that the size of the element or ion etc has a lot to do with this action, for the smaller the size = the Greater surface area, which means that you may produce greater Electrical Energy Release faster than if the size is larger, which then means less surface area!

As far as minerals in their elemental form being used by the cells directly, this is true to some degree depending on how you look at what happens!

When you understand that first the elements must release an Electrical Energy Release, which is what may travel to the cells of the body in need of repair, and then this energy is slowed down to re-make the element again in material form as the cell structure then utilizes this Electrical Energy Frequency to rebuild it's self!

So what the researchers may be missing is the process whereas the Element is turned into Electrical Energy, which is transformed back into Matter of the cell structure when it reaches the cell structure where it needs to be, and thus Falsely saying that it is of material or matter form which somehow moves about in the body, but they do not fully understand how it happens by the process of Electrical Energy!
