When I have had problems with my teeth, such as accidently burning the gums with hot foods, it does spread to other teeth. Course because of most of my bones are gone in my teeth and such, I need them all out, but I have noticed that infections and such will spread to others. Especially if they are right next to each other.
Did they check the bone structure of your teeth and your gums aren't receding? Because this can lead to other problems such as infections and other multiple goings on.
But then I could be off base with that also about the bone structure and such, but regardless, I would go back and ask your dentist and explain to him of what is going on. It doesn't hurt to check the bone structure of your teeth and gums which is related to peridontal disease, which is what I have. I have the advanced version of it where there is no recourse to save my teeth. :(
