Well I beleive thats how Kenner first came up with sodium ascorbate , but yes I suppose you wouldnt want to take your baking soda that has been in the fridge for ever to make an intravenious solution ! You can get ascorbic acid for 18 dollars a kilo, there is no where to get sodium ascorbate near that cheap even in the states!
