I have another question for you. All this week, I've been megadosing with Vitamin C after determining my daily needs. I'm taking 5 Gms. 4 times a day which comes to 20 Gms. a day. What I'm noticing however is that as soon as I take it, I get really sleepy, get a bad headache, my sinuses flare up and my nose starts to run. That almost sounds like allergic reactions, doesn't it? I'm kinda disappointed because I had so much energy on Sunday when I was flushing, but since then have not had the same type of reaction. I'm not quite sure what to do now. Could it be the type of C I'm taking, which is calcium ascorbate for now, or am I supposed to gradually build up to that dose after a flush? I've done research on side effects with high dosages of Vitamin C and haven't found anything that sounds like what I'm experiencing. Any ideas you might have regarding this would be greatly appreciated!!
